RedGate Golf Course

RedGate Municipal Golf Course, Rockville's championship 18-hole par-71 golf course, has been ranked as one of the 10 finest facilities in the Washington metropolitan area by Washington Golf Magazine. Open year-round, the course offers a four tee system that allows players of all skill levels to enjoy their round. RedGate offers a full schedule of lessons and clinics given by our skilled professional staff. A driving range and practice are also available for players wishing to sharpen their playing skills. After your round, stop in and see RedGate's improved snack bar, and fully stocked Pro-Shop. Reserved tee times are available seven days a week, as well as on the day of play. Outings are always welcome. RedGate is located at 14500 Avery Rd. Call 240-314-8730 for tee times, lessons, or other questions.

Driving Directions:

From Rockville 
From MD Rt. 355/MD Rt. 28 intersection, take MD Rt. 28 East.
Turn left at the MD Rt. 28/First Street Intersection. You will still be on MD Rt. 28 East (now called Norbeck Road).
Turn left onto Avery Road. RedGate is the first entrance on the left.
 
From Washington, DC/Northern Virginia 
Take 1-95 or I-495 (Capital Beltway) toward I-270.
Merge onto I-270 North exit number 38; take left exit toward Rockville/Frederick.
Take the I-270 Local (right lanes) north toward Montrose Road.
Take the Montrose Road East (exit number 4A).
Turn left onto Tower Oaks Boulevard.
Turn right onto Wootton Parkway.
Stay straight to go onto First Street (MD Rt. 911 East). Continue on First Street.
Stay straight to go onto Norbeck Road (MD Rt. 28 East).
Turn left onto Avery Road. RedGate is the first entrance on the left.
 
From Baltimore 
Take I-95 South toward the I-495 Capital Beltway/Washington, DC.
Merge onto I-495 (Capital Beltway) West toward I-270.
Merge onto I-270 North exit number 35 towards Rockville/Frederick.
Take the I-270 Local (right lanes) north toward Montrose Road.
Take the Montrose Road East (exit number 4A).
Turn left onto Tower Oaks Boulevard.
Turn right onto Wootton Parkway.
Stay straight to go onto First Street (MD Rt. 911 East). Continue on First Street.
Stay straight to go onto Norbeck Road (MD Rt. 28 East).
Turn left onto Avery Road. RedGate is the first entrance on the left.
 
From Frederick 
Take I-270 South toward the I-495 Capital Beltway/Washington, DC.
Take the I-270 Local (right lanes) south toward West Montgomery Avenue (MD Rt. 28).
Take the West Montgomery Avenue (MD Rt. 28) exit (number 6A).
From exit ramp, turn left onto West Montgomery Avenue (MD Rt. 28). You will be traveling east.
Turn left at the MD Rt. 28/First Street intersection. You will still be on MD Rt. 28 East (now called Norbeck Road).
Turn left onto Avery Road. RedGate is the first entrance on the left.
