2011 Crime Analysis Statistical Report

There has been a 4% decrease in crime within the City of Rockville for January–December 2011, as compared to the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) statistics for January-December 2010:

Part 1 Crime decreased by 6%(from 1,507 to 1,424)
Part II Crime decreased by 3%
(from 3,590 to 3,480)
Overall, Total Crime decreased by 4%
(Part 1 and Part II totals)
(from 5,097 to 4,904)
Murder:100% increase(from 0 to 1)
Rape:30% decrease(from 10 to 7)
Robbery:23% decrease(from 69 to 53 )
Aggravated Assault:5% decrease(from 41 to 39 )
Burglary:9% increase(from 239 to 260)
Larceny:9% decrease(from 1,082 to 988 )
Auto Theft:15% increase(from 66 to 76)
