Basketball All Stars

Learn basketball fundamentals in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere. Skill areas covered include sportsmanship, teamwork, ball handling, passing, shooting, strategy and game rules. Scrimmages will be held. General recreational activities also are part of the day. Recreational Swim included; details to follow in Camp Information Packet.

Gymnastics

Improve strength, flexibility and coordination as you learn a variety of gymnastic skills in this introductory program. Floor exercises, tumbling, ribbon exercises and some basic gymnastic apparatus are covered. Games and crafts are also a part of the day. Note: Campers grouped by age and skill level. A gymnastics presentation will be given on the last day of each session. Recreational Swim included; details to follow in Camp Information Packet. This location is not air-conditioned.

Multi-Sports, Tennis & Games

Enjoy learning the basics of a variety of sports and games that may include hockey, basketball, baseball, flag football, soccer and tennis. Emphasis is on sportsmanship, skill development, rules, strategy and fun! General recreational activities also are part of the day. *Sessions #24224, #24225 and #24228 are one-week options. Note: Participants must bring a tennis racket. A water bottle and hat/visor also recommended. Recreational Swim included; details to follow in Camp Information Packet. Outdoor location.

Super Stars

Enjoy learning games and basic sports skills in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere. Basketball, t-ball, soccer,
flag football, kickball and other activities may be a part of this camp experience. Emphasis is on sportsmanship, skill development and fun! General recreational activities also are part of the day. Swim Lessons included, Tuesday through Thursday, at the Rockville Municipal Swim Center Indoor Pool for the two-week sessions. Campers in *Session #24240 will have Recreational Swim; details to follow in Camp Information Packet. Campers must be five years old by Sept. 1, 2008. This location is not air-conditioned.
