Basketball All StarsStep up to Health

Learn basketball fundamentals and improve your skills in a fun, noncompetitive atmosphere. Skill areas covered include sportsmanship, teamwork, ball handling, passing and shooting. Scrimmages will be held. General recreational activities also are part of the day. Recreational swim included.

Gymnastics, Trampoline & CheerleadingStep up to Health

This camp has it all! Learn basic gymnastics, tumbling and trampoline routines. Group games and arts and crafts are also a part of each day. All levels of ability are welcome. Cheerleading will be an introduction
into competitive all-star cheerleading. Basic tumbling, cartwheels, back handsprings, stunting, motions, jumps, cheers and dances are taught. A new choreographed routine will be performed at the end of
each week. Bring a healthy snack, lunch and drink.

Multi-Sports, Tennis & GamesStep up to Health

Enjoy learning the basics of a variety of sports and games that may include hockey, basketball, baseball, flag football and soccer. Emphasis is on sportsmanship, skill development, rules, strategy and fun! General
recreational activities also are part of the day. Sessions #31011, #31012 and #31015 are one-week options. A water bottle and hat/visor are recommended. Recreational swim included. Note: Outdoor location.

Super StarsStep up to Health

Enjoy learning games and basic sports skills in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere. Basketball, T-ball, soccer, flag football, kickball and other activities may be a part of this camp experience. Emphasis is on sportsmanship, skill development and fun! General recreational activities are also part of the day. Swim lessons included, Tuesday-Thursday, at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center indoor pool for the two-week sessions. Campers in Session #31025 will have recreational swim. Participants must be 5 years old by Sept. 1, 2010. Note: Location is not air-conditioned.

Higher Level Girls BasketballStep up to Health
This high energy, all girls basketball camp is both challenging and fun. Learn fundamentals and improve your skills through drills and scrimmages. Camp Director, Maggie Dyer, is the head coach of the Wootton High School Girls Basketball Team. Maggie has over 15 years of basketball camp experience. Bring a bag lunch. Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.

Rockville Express BaseballStep up to Health

Co-Sponsored by the Rockville Express Your Local Collegiate Summer Baseball Team Learn the fundamentals of baseball or hone advanced skills with Rockville Express coaches and college all-stars. Designed for children of all ability levels, this camp will focus on comprehensive skill development in hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, base running and teamwork. Campers will be grouped by age and skill level, and will compete in daily games and other baseball activities. Our goal is to help children improve overall baseball skills and learn the game in a fun and safe atmosphere.

Campers must provide a baseball glove and water bottle; all other equipment is provided. Campers will receive a camp T-shirt, gift and a free pass for them to attend Rockville Express home games. Rockville Express, part of the Cal Ripken Collegiate League, attracts premier college baseball players from across the nation. Rockville Express coaches and players, lead by Head Coach Angelo Nicolosi, will instruct the campers. Coach Nicolosi, a former professional baseball player, has instructed baseball camps at Auburn and Seton Hall universities.

An extended day option is available for camps, before and after, at Dogwood Park. During extended care, campers do board games, work on craft projects and play on the playground. Participants must be 5 years old at the start of the camp. Note: Outdoor location.
