Summer Playground Program
Program
On the hot, steamy days of summer, let your child run off excess energy with friends at your neighborhood playground. Weekly themes highlighting board games, fitness play, sports, arts, crafts and other fun activities will be led by energetic, caring recreation leaders. This drop-in general recreation program is the perfect complement to our other summer offerings. A "Let's Move" activity, this program will keep your child busy and safe during the day. Field trips and weekly swim available for additional fees. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. Five-year-olds accepted only if entering first grade in Fall 2011 (proof required). Summer Playgrounds - Weekly Swim
A refreshing addition to the Summer Playgrounds program experience. Buses pick up and return children to the playgrounds. Lessons are not included. Children must be registered for a playground to participate in this weekly swim program. For information, call 240-314-8636 or 240-314-8633.
