Refuse: Gray Carts
Rockville provides once-per-week refuse collection. Refuse is everything that fits inside the cart that is not recycling, yard waste or hazardous waste. Place refuse in the gray cart. Use plastic trash bags to collect trash before placing inside the cart and to keep the cart clean. Keep the lid closed to avoid spilling trash or attracting animals and to minimize odors.
