Community Meeting to Discuss Pedestrian Safety & Traffic Calming
Near the Rockville Senior Center

Wednesday, February 16, 2005
7 – 9 P.M.
Rockville Senior Center Dining Room

As part of Rockville’s ongoing effort to improve traffic circulation, pedestrian safety and protect neighborhoods throughout the city, staff is coordinating a meeting to discuss access to the Rockville Senior Center.

Concerns have been raised about the volumes and speeds of traffic accessing the Senior Center via residential streets.  Traffic calming along those streets, pedestrian safety improvements and other options for accessing the Senior Center will be discussed during this meeting.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss this project prior to the February 16 meeting, contact Phil Bryan, Superintendent of Recreation, at 240-314-8625 or pbryan@rockvillemd.gov, or Katherine Kelly, Transportation Planner, at 240-314-8527 or kkelly@rockvillemd.gov
