Concrete Maintenance Program

The City of Rockville has an ongoing concrete maintenance program that replaces damaged, uneven, and deteriorated concrete curbs, sidewalks, and driveway aprons throughout the city.  We will be in your neighborhood within the next two weeks, making necessary repairs.  This work may or may not be within the limits of your portion of the street.  All work will be done within the City right-of-way and at no time should we be on private property.  If any work is scheduled in the vicinity of your residence, you will see orange paint on the concrete several days before the work is done.  We ask you to assist us in this project by discouraging children and others from damaging the fresh concrete in any manner.  If your driveway is affected, you will be notified prior to the repair so vehicles can be moved.  We request that you refrain from driving over the apron for four (4) days after the work is complete, in order for the concrete to gain sufficient strength, decreasing repeat replacement.

We regret any inconvenience this work may cause.  If you have any questions or wish to get additional information, you may call the City of Rockville Department of Public of Works at 240-314-8500.
