Neighborhood Advisory

The Department of Public Works will be making storm drain improvements along Southlawn Lane near both intersections of Southlawn Lane with Lofstrand Lane. A field survey will be conducted this month by the City’s consultant, Maddox, Inc. Business owners will see various colored spray paint markings delineating the utilities in the street, on the sidewalk and in areas in front of some businesses. Maddox’s sub-contractor, Mid-Atlantic Utility Locating, will be providing geotechnical investigation services, as part of this project. Geotechnical investigations are anticipated to occur in September. Once the survey data is gathered and the design is completed, another advisory will be mailed with updates, including the construction schedule.
