Stonestreet Pedestrian Bridge Replacement
Public Meeting November 15, 2011 7:30 p.m.

The City of Rockville will replace the pedestrian bridge, connecting South Stonestreet Avenue and Veirs Mill Road. This bridge will go over the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) and CSXT Incorporated (CSX) train tracks.

The purpose of this public meeting is to update the community on the design of the bridge, discuss schedule and gain input regarding the process for naming the bridge.

The meeting will be held at the Pump House, 601 South Horners Lane, on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m. If you cannot attend the meeting, but would like more information, please contact us.

The project is being performed as part of the City Capital Improvements Program for Bridge Rehabilitation and has funding for nearly $800,000 in Fiscal year 2012 for the design and construction of the bridge.
