The City of Rockville operates the garden plot program at Wootton’s Mill Park which is located on Hurley Avenue in Rockville, Maryland. The program runs from April 1, 2009 through November 13, 2009. There are 177 plots available, including one raised plot that is handicap accessible. Fees for 2009 $45 per plot for Rockville City Residents $55 per plot for Non-Rockville Residents
Registration options: - Visit Glenview Mansion at 603 Edmonston Drive, Rockville, MD, 20851 to register Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm after the date listed above.
- Download a registration form. Fill in the form completely, including MasterCard or Visa credit card number with expiration date and the name of the cardholder exactly as it appears on the card. Fax the competed form to 240-314-8669; office staff will assign plot(s). Call to confirm fax.
- Call 240-314-8660 before faxing the completed form; plot numbers will be assigned by phone. Fax the form and call to confirm receipt.
Garden Plots are approximately 20'x25' Plots have been plowed, staked and numbered. Six water spigots are provided; gardeners need to provide their own hoses.
Water Sources: There are six water spigots to hook up your own hose. The water line runs left to right between rows 5 and 6. Directions to the Garden Plots from Rockville City Hall: - Go west on West Montgomery Avenue (Route 28); cross the bridge over I-270
- Turn left at the first traffic light, which is Hurley Avenue
- Travel approximately ¼ mile and turn left into the parking lot of Woottons Mill Park
(just as you pass the Latvian Lutheran Church of Washington).
