     Insurance requirements (your choice):

  • $5,000 Performance Bond made out in the individual’s name
  • Proof of insurance with a minimum $300,000 general liability and $100,000 property damage coverage. The individual’s name must appear on the certificate and it must show the City of Rockville, Inspection Services Division, as the certificate holder along with our complete address.
  • A copy of your current, active Maryland Statewide Master Electrician’s License

ADDENDUM FOR MULTI-FAMILY UNITS

Included in fee:
All fixtures, outlets, fans, smoke detectors, appliance outlets, cable heat, heating/cooling equipment with motors < 1 hp within the dwelling unit.

NOT INCLUDED IN THE FEE:
Fire protection devices, heating/cooling equipment with motors > 1 hp, other equipment with motors > 1 hp, TPF, electrical panels and services for individual units or the entire building.
