Held during most Mayor and Council meetings, residents may speak for up to three minutes. Priority
is given to speakers who sign up in advance by calling the City Clerk’s Office at 240-314-8280 by 4 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Meet with the Mayor or a council member.
Drop-in times are held once a month on Monday evening prior to the Mayor and Council meeting from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Call the City Clerk’s Office at 240-314-8280 to sign up. Testify at a public hearing.
Public hearings are held during regular Mayor and Council meetings and are topic specific. To speak, call the City Clerk’s Office at 240-314-8280 by 4 p.m. on the date of the hearing. Individuals are allowed three minutes to speak, and persons representing organizations are allowed five minutes. Written testimony can be e-mailed to cityclerk@rockvillemd.gov or mailed to City Clerk’s Office, 111 Maryland Ave., Rockville, MD 20850. Make a request; report a problem or comment on City services.
