Confidential Communications Tape/Video Request Form

Use this online form to request a communications tape or video. If preferred, the form can be printed out and faxed to the Rockville City Police Department at (240) 314-8908 for processing. The fee for a copy of the in-car videotape (I.C.O.P) is $100 per copy. An audiotape recording from Police Communications is $25 per CD. Payment should be made by check, payable to the City of Rockville. 
    
The information you submit will be processed and you will be notified by a telephone call when the tape(s) are ready to be picked up. If unable to be reached, a message will be left. If unable to leave any message and unable to be contacted, a "certified letter - return receipt" will be sent. Once the return receipt is received from the party, you have fourteen calendar days to pick up. If copy is not picked up in that time frame, the tape is recycled and reused by our agency for other tapings.

This is a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) identification number assigned to the police complaint. This can be obtained by calling the Police Communications Section at 240-314-8900.
