ILLEGAL DRUG ARRESTS 

02/11/08-(9:46 a.m.) Marlo Dewaine Glover, M, age 46, of Silver Spring, was arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana following a traffic violation stop at the intersection of Falls Road and I-270.  Mr. Glover was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

02/12/08-(11:00 a.m. – 12:19 p.m.) Frank Valenta, M, age 56, of Rockville, was arrested for possession of CDS-cocaine and CDS paraphernalia following a trespassing complaint in the 16000 block of Shady Grove Road.  Mr. Valenta was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

02/13/08-(10:45 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.)  Jose C. Bacon, M, age 48, of Rockville, was arrested for possession of CDS-cocaine and jaywalking following an incident observed by a Rockville City Police Officer at the intersection of First Street and Baltimore Road.  Mr. Bacon was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

02/15/08-(5:11 p.m.)  Alfred Tyrone Giles, M, age 37, of Orlando, Florida was arrested for CDS-paraphernalia following a traffic violation stop at the intersection of Grandin Avenue and Edmonston Drive.  Mr. Giles was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

THEFT ARRESTS

01/18/08-01/31/08-(3:45 p.m. – 8:28 p.m.) Gil Daniel Paiz Garcia, M, age 22, of Silver Spring, was arrested for 3 counts of theft and 1 count of theft scheme following a complaint in the 1500 block of Rockville Pike.  Mr. Paiz Garcia was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

01/27/08-(3:47 p.m.) Edwin Antonio Ferrufino, M, age 19, of Silver Spring, was arrested for 2 counts of theft following a complaint in the 1500 block of Rockville Pike.  Mr. Ferrufino was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

01/27/08-02/08908-(7:00 p.m. – 7:22 p.m.) Daniel Marcelo Khon-Perez, M, age 24, of Rockville, was arrested for theft, attempted theft and check counterfeit/forgery following a complaint in the 2200 block of Veirs Mill Road.  Mr. Khon-Perez was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

ASSAULT ARRESTS

02/15/08-(7:30 a.m. – 7:45 a.m.) Primus Edward Walker, III, was arrested for domestic assault following a complaint in the Unit block of Southlawn Court.  Mr. Walker was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

02/15/08-(9:48 p.m.)  Alex Danilo Sanchez, M, age 42, of Rosedale, Maryland, was arrested for impersonating a police officer following a traffic violation stop in the 400 block of Hungerford Drive.  Mr. Sanchez was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

02/17/08-(4:22 a.m.) Leonard Copeland, M, age 41, of Rockville, was arrested for simple assault on a police officer following a disorderly conduct complaint in the 600 block of Rockville Pike.  Mr. Copeland was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

OTHER ARRESTS

02/10/08-(12:52 p.m.) Walter Ray Essex, M, age 48, of Rockville, was arrested for trespassing following a complaint in the 1200 block of First Street. Mr. Essex was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

02/11/08-(4:56 p.m.) Male juvenile, age 17, of Rockville, was arrested for malicious destruction of property following a complaint in the 600 block of Hungerford Drive.  The Male juvenile was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released into the custody of his parents.

02/11/08-(6:11 p.m.) Charles Edward Cox, M, age 48, of no fixed address, was arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing following a complaint in the 2200 block of Veirs Mill Road.  Mr. Cox was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

02/11/08-(10:30 p.m.) Ryan Dominique Crittenden, M, age 18, of Rockville, was arrested for malicious destruction of property and disorderly conduct following a complaint in the 400 block of Elmcroft Boulevard.  In addition Mr. Crittenden was issued a criminal citation for possession of alcohol by person under the age of 21 and was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

02/14/08-(10:20 p.m.) Anthony Wayne Farmer, M, age 38, of Silver Spring, was arrested for disorderly conduct following a complaint in the 500 block of Hungerford Drive.  Mr. Farmer was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

02/15/08-(2:30 a.m. – 2:49 a.m.) Thomas Flurry, M, age 20, of no fixed address was arrested for fail to pay for service following a complaint at the intersection of Fordham Street and Yale Place.  Mr. Flurry was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

02/13/08-(8:47 p.m.) Anja Ursula Shipp, F, age 46, of Rockville, was arrested for telephone misuse following a complaint in the 200 block of Virginia Avenue.  Mr. Shipp was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

DUI ARRESTS

02/12/08-(2:00 a.m.) Caren Lisa Fine, F, age 49, of Potomac, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 200 block of North Washington Street.  Ms. Fine was transported to the Montgomery County Police Department’s 1st District Station for processing and released.

02/17/08-(3:00 a.m.) Trevaughn Aaron Hartmann, M, age 30, of Forestville, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Monroe Street and Argyle Street.  Mr. Hartmann was transported to the Montgomery County Police Department’s 1st District Station for processing. 

THEFTS

02/11/08-02/12/08-(5:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) 800 block of Robert Road, unknown suspect(s) removed several ladders, several lawn ornaments, a spray painter, a generator, a door, assorted tools and supplies, 2 pedestals, a power washer, pieces of crown molding from a residential yard.

02/13/08-(12:53 a.m. – 1:07 a.m.) 1600 block of East Gude Drive, unknown suspect(s) removed 4 tires and rims from an unattended vehicle at an auto repair shop.

02/15/08-(11:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.) 400 block of North Washington Street, unknown suspect(s) removed an Ipod from an office.

02/15/08-(2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.) 1000 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed a laptop from a retail store.

02/16/08-(6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.) 1500 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed television from a retail store.

02/17/08-(4:09 p.m.) 700 block of Hungerford Drive, unknown suspect(s) removed an MP3 player from a retail store.

02/18/08-(1:20 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.) Unit block of Mannakee Street, unknown suspect(s) removed a cell phone and U.S. currency from two locked lockers at a college.

BURGLARIES

02/11/08-(1:27 a.m. – 2:25 a.m.) 15200 block of Shady Grove Road, Commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by prying the lock on a front door of an office.  Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed U.S. currency and two rolls of stamps.

02/12/08-(1:16 a.m.) 1300 block of Templeton Place, Residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access through an unlocked rear door. Nothing taken,
