ILLEGAL DRUG ARRESTS 

03/19/08-(9:25 p.m.) Luis Enrique Rayo, M, age 23, of Rockville, was arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana and possession of CDS-paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 800 block of Bradley Avenue.   Mr. Rayo was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

ASSAULT ARRESTS

03/19/08-(9:45 a.m. – 10:05 a.m.) Marquis Ahmed Peay, M, age 18, of Rockville was arrested for 2nd degree domestic assault following a complaint in the 200 block of North Van Buren Street.  Mr. Peay was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

03/20/08-(10:50 p.m. – 11:15 p.m.) Cynthia Grayson, F, age 39, of Rockville, was arrested for 2nd degree domestic assault following a complaint in the 1200 block of First Street.  Ms. Grayson was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

VANDALISM ARRESTS

03/10/08-(9:40 a.m.) Bernard McCeney Hawkins, M, age 45, of Gaithersburg, was arrested for malicious destruction of property and possession of CDS-paraphernalia following a domestic dispute complaint in the 1300 block of First Street. Mr. Hawkins was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing. 

03/20/08-(10:48 a.m.) Male juvenile, age 13, of Gaithersburg, was arrested for malicious destruction of property following a complaint in the 14500 block of Avery Road. The male juvenile was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released into the custody of his father.

OTHER ARRESTS

03/18/08-(8:30 a.m. – 9:40 a.m.) Idris A. Nasser, M, age 20, of Silver Spring, was arrested for disturbing the peace, trespassing and two counts of disorderly conduct following a complaint in the Unit block of Mannakee Street.  Mr. Nasser was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

03/19/08-(8:57 p.m.) Leslie Wheeler, F, age 45, of Rockville, was arrested for trespassing following a complaint in the 200 block of West Montgomery Avenue.  Ms. Wheeler was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

03/20/08-(3:45 p.m.) Daniel Greg Wyatt, M, age 21, of Takoma Park; Luigi Domenico Canali, M, age 20, of North Potomac; Claire Michelle Waterhouse, F, age 19, of Potomac; Female juvenile, age 17, and William Dale Reed, M, age 20 both of Rockville; and Thomas Michael Steinbach, M, age 19, of Temple Hills; were arrested: Mr. Wyatt for furnishing alcohol to minors; Mr. Canali, Ms. Waterhouse, Mr. Reed, Mr. Steinbach and the Female juvenile for underage possession of alcohol following a complaint in the 1100 block of Grand Champion Drive.  Mr. Wyatt, Mr. Canali, Ms. Waterhouse, Mr. Reed, and Mr. Steinbach were issued citations and released at the scene.  The Female juvenile was issued a citation and released at the scene to the custody of her mother.

DUI ARRESTS

03/16/08-(5:05 a.m.) Lauren Frances Welch, F, age 21, of Bladensburg, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Frederick Road and Watkins Pond Boulevard.  Ms. Welch was transported the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

03/18/08-(12:55 a.m.) Roberto Armando Samanamud, M, age 31, of Chicago, Illinois, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Rockville Pike.  Mr. Samanamud was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

03/19/08-(12:02 a.m.) Santiago Hernando Franco, M, age 35, of Rockville, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Baltimore Road and Taylor Lane.  Mr. Franco was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing. 

03/21/08-(11:05 p.m.) Alfredo Marino, M, age 40, of Germantown, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 16000 block of Shady Grove Road.  Mr. Marino was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

THEFTS

03/07/08 Unit block of Southlawn Court, unknown suspect(s) removed four laptop computers from an unattended vehicle.

03/11/08-03/17/08-(5:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) 100 block of First Street, unknown suspects removed building supplies from a construction site.

03/14/08-(4:45 p.m.) Unit block of Maryland Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed blender and U.S. currency from a retail store.

03/15/08-(10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.) 1200 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed several dozen Ipods were removed from an electronic store.

03/18/08-(3:57 p.m. – 4:07 p.m.) 200 block of Meadow Hall Drive, unknown suspect(s) removed a purse, accounting books, computer software and a laptop charger from a library.

03/18/08-03/19/08-(8:30 p.m. – 9:00 a.m.) 900 block of Lincoln Street, unknown suspect(s) removed two GPS systems from an unlocked unattended vehicle.

03/18/08-03/19/08-(8:30 p.m. – 9:00 a.m.) 900 block of Lincoln Street, unknown suspect(s) removed U.S. currency from an unlocked unattended vehicle.

03/18/08-03/19/08-(8:30 p.m. – 9:00 a.m.) 700 block of Mapleton Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed a wallet and a folder containing checks from an unlocked unattended vehicle.

BURGLARIES

03/16/08-03/17/08-(11:00 p.m. – 11:00 a.m.) 200 block of Cork Tree Lane, Residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access through an unlocked garage door and entered an unlocked vehicle.  Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed U.S. currency.


03/18/08-(12:50 p.m.) 3000 block of Windy Knoll Court, Residential, unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry through a rear sliding glass door.  No entry was made.

03/18/08-(12:00 p.m. -12:15 p.m.) Unit block of Feather Rock Place, Residential, unknown suspect(s) attempted to gain entry through a rear basement door.  No entry was made.

03/18/08-(8:15 p.m.) 600 block of Lofstrand Lane, Commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by breaking through a rear door of a restaurant.  Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed U.S. currency.
