ILLEGAL DRUG ARRESTS 

03/25/08-(6:17 p.m.) Patrick Franklin Wilson, M, age 19, of Clarksburg, was arrested for possession of CDS-cocaine and possession of CDS-paraphernalia following a complaint in the 400 block of Lincoln Street.  Mr. Wilson was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

03/25/08-(7:45 p.m.) Frank John Valenta, III, M, age 48, of Rockville, was arrested for possession of CDS-paraphernalia following a traffic stop at the intersection of Baltimore Road and First Street.  Mr. Valenta was issued a criminal citation and released.

03/29/08-(1:45 a.m. – 2:15 a.m.) Terrance Anthony Graham, Jr., M, age 22, of Rockville, was arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana and possession of CDS-paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Henry Road.  Mr. Graham was issued three traffic citations and transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

03/31/08-(1:15 a.m. – 1:25 a.m.) Edward J. Velasco, M, age 20, of Gaithersburg, was arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana and possession of CDS-paraphernalia following a traffic stop at the intersection of Rockville Pike and East Middle Lane. Mr. Velasco was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

PROSTITUTION ARREST

03/28/08-(3:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.) Danielle Renee Gottes, F, age 30, of Rockville, was arrested for prostitution following a complaint in the 100 block of Pasture Side Way.  Ms. Gottes was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

ASSAULT ARRESTS

03/23/08-(12:10 a.m. – 12:15 a.m.) Male juvenile, age 17, of Silver Spring, and male juvenile, age 17, of Beltsville, were arrested for 2nd degree assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and failing to obey a lawful order following a complaint in the 2100 block of Veirs Mill Road.  Both juveniles were transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released into the custody of their parents.

VANDALISM/GRAFFITI ARRESTS

03/22/08-(3:30 a.m. – 4:03 a.m.) Nathan S. Alban, M, age 27, of Silver Spring, was arrested for malicious destruction of property following a complaint in the1700 block of Yale Place.  Mr. Alban was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

03/26/08-(11:50 p.m. – 11:55 p.m.) Elliott Vernon Weitz, M, age 18, of Silver Spring, was arrested for graffiti following an observance by a Rockville City Officer in the 2100 block of Veirs Mill Road.   Mr. Weitz was issued a criminal citation and released.

THEFT ARRESTS

03/31/08-(2:00 a.m. – 2:15 a.m.) Shane Aaron Santangelo, M, age 27, of Germantown, was arrested theft, 2nd degree assault on a police officer, and resisting arrest following a complaint in the 16000 block of Shady Grove Road.  Mr. Santagelo was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

OTHER ARRESTS

03/22/08-03/23/08-(11:49 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.) Heurgion Savenien Julien, M, age 21, of Takoma Park, was arrested for disorderly conduct, failing to obey a lawful order following a complaint in the 2100 block of Veirs Mill Road.  Mr. Julien was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

03/24/08-(9:35 p.m. – 9:55 p.m.) Pat Rayner, M, age 46, of Silver Spring, was arrested for urinating in public and disorderly conducted following a complaint in the unit block of Maryland Avenue.  Mr. Rayner was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

DUI ARRESTS

03/23/08-(11:40 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.) Jose Cruz Lopez-Zampora, M, age 22, of Silver Spring, was arrested for driving under the influence following an observance by a Rockville City Police Officer in the 2000 block of Veirs Mill Road. During the investigation it was discovered that Mr. Lopez-Zampora also had an outstanding warrant for driving under the influence and driving without a license.  Mr. Lopez-Zampora was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

03/30/08-(5:30 a.m. – 6:30 a.m.) Tariq Artise Agyemann, M, age 24, of Gwynn Oak, Maryland, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 900 block of Veirs Mill Road.  Mr. Agyemann was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

THEFTS

03/17/08-03/18/08-(7:00 p.m. – 8:44 a.m.) 700 block of Garden View Way, unknown suspect(s) a GPS system from an unattended vehicle.

03/20/08-03/21/08-(11:00 p.m. – 4:00 a.m.) Unit block of Balmoral Court, unknown suspect(s) removed a GPS system and a Bluetooth from an unattended vehicle.

03/21/08-03/25/08-(12:00 p.m. – 8:30 a.m.) 100 block of Rollins Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed a vehicle taillight.

03/21/08-03/24/08-(2:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.) 1600 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed copper wiring from a construction site.

03/21/08-03/27/08-(5:30 p.m. – 1:01 a.m.) 1000 block of Elmcroft Boulevard, unknown suspect(s) removed a cell phone from a residence.

03/22/08-(12:30 a.m. – 2:30 a.m.) 1621 Marshall Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed a purse containing several credit cards, a driver’s license, U.S. currency, a digital camera and a set of keys from a residence.

03/26/08-(11:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.) 1700 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed two camping stoves from a retail sporting goods store.

03/26/08-03/27/08-(12:01 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.) 300 block of Watkins Circle, unknown suspect(s) removed a GPS system and gifts cards from an unattended vehicle.

03/29/08-(7:00 p.m.) 12900 block of Twinbrook Parkway, unknown suspect(s) removed cash from a wallet at a recreation center.

03/29/08-(11:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.) 1700 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed a coat, an Ipod, a purse containing credit/debt cards, a cell phone, a driver’s license and U.S. currency from hotel lounge.

BURGLARIES

03/01/08-03/22/08-(12:00 p.m. – 12:00 p.m.) 400 block of Anderson Avenue, Residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access by unknown means to a residence.  Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed a pipe, a cane and a laptop computer.

09/01/07-03/26/08-(12:01 a.m. – 12:48 p.m.) 100 block Rollins Avenue, Residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access by unknown means into an apartment.  Once inside the unknown suspect removed a key to a storage locker and removed a ring, a DVD player, a Blackberry and a suitcase.
