ILLEGAL DRUG ARRESTS 

04/01/08-(1:01 a.m.) George Colton Young, Jr., M, age 45, of Frederick, was arrested for possession of CDS-paraphernalia following a complaint in the 700 block of Lenmore Avenue.  Mr. Young was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

04/15/08-(5:20 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.) Christian Allen Williams, M, age 20, of no fixed address was arrested for possession of CDS-cocaine and possession of CDS-marijuana following a complaint in the 1300 block of East Gude Drive.  Mr. Williams was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

04/17/08-04/17/08-(5:31 p.m.) Lamar Dominique McRoy, M, age 18, of Gaithersburg, was arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana following a complaint in the 800 block of Monroe Street.  Mr. McRoy was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

04/17/08-(10:00 p.m.) Tara Renee Carter, F, age 39, of Lanham, was arrested for possession of CDS-paraphernalia following a complaint in the 1100 block of Taft Street. Ms. Carter was issued a criminal citation and released.

04/19/08-(3:30 a.m. – 3:45 a.m.) Babak A. Najafi, M, age 27, of Germantown, was arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana following a traffic stop in the 100 block of Rockville Pike.  Mr. Najafi was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

04/26/08-(8:20 a.m.) Perry Worthington Snowden, M, age 48, of no fixed address was arrested for possession of CDS-marijuana following a complaint in the 400 block of North Horners Lane.  Mr. Snowden was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

ROBBERY ARRESTS

04/12/08-(6:45 p.m. – 7:12 p.m.) Two male juveniles, both age 16, both of Rockville, were arrested for strong arm robbery, 2nd degree assault, theft, conspiracy to commit robbery, conspiracy to commit theft and conspiracy to commit 2nd degree assault following s complaint in the 1300 block of Grandin Avenue.  The two male juveniles were transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and then transported to the Alfred Noyes Center.

WEAPONS ARRESTS

04/21/08-(2:45 a.m. – 3:00 a.m.) Edwin Giovanni Marquez Hernandez, M, age 32, of Frederick, was arrested for possession of concealed weapon (throwing star) and for driving on a suspended license following a traffic violation stop in the 2200 block of Veirs Mill Road.  Mr. Hernandez was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

ASSAULT ARRESTS

04/14/08-(5:38 p.m.) Keith Augustine, M, age 20, of Poolesville, was arrested for 2nd degree assault on a police officer and resisting arrest following a complaint in the 1900 block of Veirs Mill Road.  Mr. Augustine was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

THEFT ARRESTS

04/17/08-(2:00 p.m.) Lisa Denese Williams, F, age 37, of Rockville, was arrested for theft following a complaint in the 1300 block of East Gude Drive.  Ms. Williams was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

04/19/08-(6:57 p.m.) Hector Rodriguez, M, age 26, of Silver Spring, was arrested for theft following a complaint in the 2200 block Veirs Mill Road.  Mr. Rodriguez was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

04/20/08-(3:20 p.m. – 3:40 p.m.) David Schweitzer, M, age 31, of Philadelphia, PA, was arrested for shoplifting following a complaint in the 800 block of Rockville Pike.  Mr. Schweitzer was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

04/22/08-(4:20 p.m. – 4:29 p.m.) Preston Colin Crocker, M, age 20, of Rockville, was arrested for shoplifting following a complaint in the 700 block of Hungerford Drive.  Mr. Crocker was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

04/23/08-(4:35 p.m. – 5:08 p.m.) Rogelio Diaz Lemus, M, age 26, of no fixed address, was arrested for shoplifting following a complaint in the 1900 block of Veirs Mill Road.  Mr. Lemus was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

OTHER ARRESTS

04/10/08-(2:16 a.m. – 2:45 a.m.) Dixon Stuart Reese, M, age 22, of Rockville, was arrested for disorderly conduct following a complaint in the 500 block of Baltimore Road.  During the course of the investigation it was discovered that Mr. Reese had an outstanding warrant through Rockville City Police Department.  Mr. Reese was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

04/11/08-(12:05 p.m.) Thomas Walter Rusnack, M, age 63, of Olney, was arrested for violating a Peace Order following a complaint in the 100 block of Maryland Avenue.  Mr. Rusnack was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

04/16/08-(7:15 a.m. – 8:15 a.m.) Clarence Foxworth, M, age 59, of no fixed address, was arrested for disorderly conduct following a complaint in the 900 block of Farm Haven Drive.  Mr. Foxworth was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

04/17/08-(7:05 a.m. – 7:26 a.m.) Richard Buckingham, M, age 60, of no fixed address was arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing following a complaint in the 400 block of North Washington Street.  Mr. Buckingham was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

DUI ARRESTS

04/18/08-(3:40 a.m.) Noel DeJesus Reyes, M, age 44, of Silver Spring, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Veirs Mill Road.  Mr. Reyes was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

04/19/08-(2:40 a.m. – 2:42 a.m.) John Thomas Poulos, Jr., M, age 23, of Rockville, was arrested for driving under the influence following traffic stop at the intersection of Norbeck Road and Bauer Drive. Mr. Poulos was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

04/25/08-(12:45 a.m. – 1:30 a.m.) Alex Daniel Villars, M, age 28, of Olney, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop in the 200 block of Twinbrook Parkway.  Mr. Villars was transported to the Central Processing Unit for processing.

04/25/08-(3:39 p.m.) Kuen Ho Shin, M, age 51, of Laurel, was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic accident at the intersection of Veirs Mill Road and Broadwood Drive.  Mr. Shin was transported to the Rockville City Police Department for processing and released.

THEFTS

04/09/08-(12:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.) 600 block of East Jefferson Street, unknown suspect(s) removed a wallet containing several credit and debit cards, a driver’s license, an insurance card and U.S. currency from an office.

04/10/08-04/11/08-(5:30 p.m. – 8:30 a.m.) 900 block of Grandin Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed a tool bag from an unattended vehicle.

04/10/08-04/12/08-(9:00 p.m. – 10:00 a.m.) 5900 Ridgeway Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed several pieces of jewelry from a residence.

04/16/08-(4:20 p.m.) 800 block of Rockville Pike, unknown suspect(s) removed a cell phone from a business.

04/16/08-04/21/08-(6:30 p.m. - 9:00 a.m.) 400 block of North Washington Street, unknown suspect(s) removed several tape recorders from an office.

04/18/08-(6:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.) Unit block of Choke Cherry Road, unknown suspect(s) a catalytic converter from an unattended vehicle.

04/21/08-04/22/08-(7:45 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) 600 block of Warfield Drive, unknown suspect(s) removed a GPS system, an identification badge, a video game console, two headsets, credit and debit cards and a driver’s license from an unlocked unattended vehicle.

04/22/08-(9:00 p.m. – 9:10 p.m.) 700 block of Grandin Avenue, unknown suspect(s) removed several CD’s from an unattended vehicle.

04/23/08-(2:16 p.m. – 2:18 p.m.) 1100 block of Carnation Drive, unknown suspect(s) removed a basket containing assorted stationary from a recreation center.

04/24/08-04/25/08-(4:30 p.m. – 2:46 a.m.) 300 block of Oak Knoll Drive, unknown suspect(s) removed a GPS system from an unattended vehicle.

BURGLARY

04/10/08-(12:01 a.m. – 6:00 a.m.) 1600 block of East Jefferson Street, Residential, unknown suspect(s) gained access through an unlocked sliding glass door of an apartment.  Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed U.S. currency.

04/12/08-(5:34 a.m. – 5:38 a.m.) 2000 block of Veirs Mill Road, Commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by breaking through a side door of a restaurant.  Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed U.S. currency.

04/15/08-(6:00 p.m. – 9:24 p.m.) 600 block of Lofstrand Lane, Commercial, unknown suspect(s) gained access by breaking through a side door of a restaurant.  Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed U.S. currency and several packs of cigarettes.

04/21/08-04/25/08-(6:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.) 200 block of Monroe Street, Residential, unknown suspect(s) gained unknown access to a residence.  Once inside the unknown suspect(s) removed bag containing several pieces of jewelry.
