The City’s “Be Happy, Be Healthy” Community Wellness Initiative is a new program to improve the health and wellness of Rockville residents by providing information and activities for people of all ages.

Monthly programs offered at City facilities and outdoor locations provide convenient, inexpensive ways for citizens to learn about ways to improve their health.  Drop in on a seminar, join an exercise class, learn a healthy cooking skill, or take a family bike ride—there are many ways to make small or large changes which can improve the well-being of individuals and families in the community.

Share your health achievement story and inspire others to make life changes like you...

Rock On!Rock On!, a new web initiative from the Community Wellness Program, will share motivating stories on healthy achievements by Rockville residents, like you, who have achieved their healthy goals: losing weight, quitting smoking, running a marathon, getting a health screening that detected an illness early, and so on.
