Doggie Dip DayMayor and Council
Plan Town Hall Meeting

The Mayor and Council are currently planning a Town Hall meeting on Monday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. in Rockville Town Square. The Mayor and Council are expected to discuss specific details about the Town Hall meeting at their meeting on Sept. 13.

The meeting will be televised live in Town Square on Rockville 11 (cable channel 11) and will be streamed live on the web. more
  
Inspection of City Water Main Continues
Investigation and Assessment Began Aug. 16 on Pipeline
Work continues to inspect Rockville’s main 24-inch water pipe that broke twice in July. A robot equipped with a high definition closed circuit television camera and  electromagnetic capability is being used to aid engineers with efforts. more

A DAY FOR THE DOGS…Rockville will host its annual Doggie Dip Day on Saturday, Sept. 11, from noon-4 p.m. at Rockville Swim and Fitness Center, 355 Martins Lane. Dogs must have proof of current rabies vaccination. Rabies shots will be available at the site. Cost: $5 per dog. Bring a canned food to benefit Manna.

Rockville City Hall to Close for Labor Day
Recycling and Refuse Will Shift Forward One Day
Rockville City Hall will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6, for the Labor Day holiday. The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will be open noon to 9 p.m. and RedGate Municipal Golf Course will be open with the first tee time at 7 a.m.
The City will not collect recycling or refuse. Residents should put their recycling and refuse out the day after their scheduled collection day that week.  more
