Rockville is updating its plan for a section of Rockville Pike. The update involves community members in developing a vision for the future of the Pike and the land on both sides of it. You can help create a great location for people to shop, work, live, gather and move.

The Planning Commission has released two documents for public comment:

1. Revised Draft of the Rockville’s Pike Plan (the Plan)
2. Draft Rockville Pike District Code (the Code)

The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the Revised Draft Plan and Draft Code at their March 20, April 24, and May 22 scheduled meetings in Rockville City Hall's Mayor and Council Chambers, starting at 7:00 pm.

Any person wishing to testify at these meetings is requested to call the Department of Community Planning and Development Services at 240-314-8200 by 4:00 pm on the date of the hearing at which they intend to speak to place their names on the speakers’ list. Please indicate whether you intend to testify regarding the Plan, the Code or both. Advanced sign-up is requested but not required.

Written testimony is also now being accepted by the Planning Commission on these Drafts.
