Rock Around the Clock Birthday Bash
Monday, June 11, 1:30-3 p.m.
Celebrate the Senior Center turning 30!
The Rockville Senior center opened its doors in April of 1982, making this our 30th birthday! Let’s begin our Grand Opening Celebration Week with the tunes of Chip and Andrea, birthday refreshments and FUN! Birthday gifts to the center are welcome. rock around the clock with the senior center staff!
Health and Wellness Day: GET ACTIVE at the Senior Center!
Tuesday, June 12, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Celebrate the new opportunities designed for you and be a part of our newly renovated Fitness Center! Demonstrations, blood pressure, wellness information and healthy snacks will be showcased. Take this step to get active and learn about the many opportunities available to you. No preregistration required.

International Day: A Celebration of Cultures!
Wednesday, June 13, 10:30 a.m.-noon
Each day, the Rockville Senior Center is filled with wonderful people of so many nationalities. Learn about a variety of cultures through displays, costumes, tastings and dance demonstrations.
No preregistration required.

Celebrate the Stars and Stripes
Thursday, June 14, 1-2:30 p.m.
Pay tribute to Flag Day as we have entertainer, Dale Jarrett, join us for an afternoon of music. Special ice cream treats will be served by Carmen’s Italian Ice.

Night at the Improv: Desserts and Wine
Thursday, June 14, 7-9 p.m.
It’s time for some desserts, wine and interactive comedy.
Rockville Senior Center welcomes “Overboard,” an interactive comedy experience that brings people together to participate an improv comedy show based on suggestions from participants and audience members creating a one of a kind, never-to-be-performed-again experience that will keep you engaged, laughing and having fun. Desserts, wine, and mingling prior to the show.

Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Celebration of the Fitness Center Wing
Friday, June 15, 10:30a.m.-noon
Join the Mayor and Council, Department of Recreation and Parks, and state and local officials to celebrate the opening of our new state of the art Rockville Senior Center Fitness wing. The culmination of a week of fun festivities; this event will include refreshments, speeches, thank yous, tours and a Fitness Center ribbon cutting.
