Senior Support Services help residents age 60 and over remain independent in their community and provide assistance when needed. The City of Rockville offers a variety of transportation services for seniors age 60 and older, and it assists with finding or securing transportation options, or making it affordable for seniors. Information Services provide seniors or the adult children of seniors with a link to services that are available to them through the city, county, state or federal agencies, as well as through nonprofit or private organizations. Wellness Services provide seniors with opportunities to learn about important health information, receive screenings and immunizations, or receive assistance in finding resources. Rockville is committed to helping its aging population to be able to stay in their homes even after it may become difficult to perform maintenance repairs or even know whom to call to help with repairs.
