Skateboard Camp

Each summer the Skate Park hosts an exciting and instructive skateboarding camp. For summer 2012, eight week-long session will be offered. Skate Camp runs Monday - Friday from 9 am to Noon. Skilled skate counselors will cater lessons and development plans for each skater's ability level, from novice to advanced (ages 6-14). Skaters will be required to bring a complete skateboard, helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, water and a snack. The fee includes a new skateboard deck on the last day. The deck is the wooden, top part of a skateboard.

New this year, skaters will be able to register for a swimming session which runs from Noon to 3pm. This will be a great way to cool off after skating and relax at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center's outdoor pools with your fellow skaters and counselors. The swim session is an additional fee.
