The Rockville Municipal Swim Center

Practice Groups
Practice groups at Rockville are defined first by the age of the swimmers, and secondly by ability and commitment. All swimmers ages 8 and younger are assigned to the Instructional Stroke School. All swimmers ages 9 through 12 are assigned to a Junior group. All swimmers ages 13 and older are assigned to a Senior Group.  Coaches
Our skilled and experienced coaches are the  key to our success. Each of our coaches is fully certified in First Aid, CPR, and Safety Training by the American Red Cross and is a full coach-member of United States Swimming, Inc. All of our practice groups have at least two coaches on the deck, and most of the junior practices have three. Click above for a brief biography and current coaching assignments for each coach.

With more than 350 swimmers at our site, we still get to know everyone.

RMSC Parents' Club, Inc.
Finally, the backbone for all our efforts comes from the parents. Many years ago, the parents at Rockville organized themselves in order to support the efforts of the coaches and team.
