Swim and Fitness Center Staff

Mark Eldridge: Center Superintendent
Mark is responsible for the overall operations of the entire Swim and Fitness Center complex, from finances to programming, from lifeguards to cleaning supplies. Debbie Bouwkamp: Aquatics Supervisor
Debbie coordinates the many varied uses of the facilities at the Swim and Fitness Center.  This includes the scheduling and staffing of our lesson program, swim team, and rentals.  The supervisor also serves as our in-service training coordinator and instructor.  If you have any questions or concerns about any of the programs offered at the Rockville Swim Center or are interested in renting one of our pools or classrooms, please feel free to call Debbie or send her an email message, dbouwkamp@rockvillemd.gov  

Phil Ashworth: Facilities Manager
Phil is responsible for the day to day operation of the Swim and Fitness Center. In order to fulfill his responsibilities Phil supervises a committed team of facility supervisors, lifeguards, and attendants. Lynn Hasemann: Secretary/Bookkeeper
Lynn handles the administrative end of Swim and Fitness Center business, from supervising the front desk staff to preparing daily financial reports. Chris Kroeker: Facilities Operator
Chris serves as our evening and weekend facility manager as well as taking care of the maintenance and cleaning duties necessary to keep the Swim Center in tip-top shape. Dave Greene: Head Swim Coach
Dave is the head coach at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center for our nationally ranked competitive swimming team: the Rockville-Montgomery Swim Club. The club is conducted as a joint program with the Montgomery County Department of Recreation and has four other practice sites other than the Swim and Fitness Center. Dave spends most of his coaching time working with our 12 & Under swimmers as well has handling the bulk of the administrative work associated with the team.
