Statement: My objective was to design a simple and graceful form that has visual and conceptual references to this particular site. This form is a composite of the hull of a boat and the wing of a plane, both historically significant vehicles of transportation. Its placement on the comer of Falls Road and West Ritchie Parkway, is on a North-South axis, and becomes a subtle beacon when entering or exiting the Orchard Ridge area. Budget: $25,000
