Live Town Center Webcam
(updated every 60 seconds)

Untitled Document

Construction on the site of the new Rockville Town Square development in Rockville Town Center began in August 2004. The first buildings in the mixed-use development are scheduled to open in spring 2007.

This view is provided by a camera installed on the roof of the Victoria Condominiums, which are located on East Middle Lane. The view is looking toward the north.

For reference:

  • The upper left is near the intersection of Beall and North Washington Street, which will be home to a new Grocery Store
  • The street running through the center of the picture is Gibbs street, with retail stores at the street level and residences on the upper floors
  • At the upper right of this view is the Arts and Innovation Center, which is left of the recently opened Rockville Library (out of view)
  • Immediately in front of both the Arts and Innovation Center and the Rockville library is the new Rockville Town Square Plaza.

Complete details about the set up of the Town Center webcam project are available on the RockNet Community Network's Web site. Special thanks go to the members of Rocknet for contributing their time and expertise to help make this project a reality.
