Twinbrook Community Recreation Center was designed for you, and we thank you for visiting this site and invite you to come to our center. The center is the focal place for bringing the community together to participate in recreational opportunities for all ages. After School Adventure
For Afternoon Kindergarten - 5th graders attending Twinbrook and Meadow Hall Elementary Schools on Monday - Friday.

The after school program is designed to provide children with a safe and fun environment. Children will have an opportunity to participate in the computer lab, crafts, organized games, basketball, ping-pong, and other enrichment activities.

Spring Fever #24911: Monday, March 31-Friday, May 9
Outdoor Fun #24912: Monday, May 7-Thursday, Jun 12

The program schedule will follow the Montgomery County Public School calendar and will operate only when school is in session for full days.

Pick Up Time: 3:05 p.m. pick up at Meadow Hall Elementary School

Drop Off Time: 3:45 p.m. drop-off at Twinbrook Community Recreation Center

Parents must pick-up children at the center by 6 p.m. or subject to a late fee.)

Pre-registration is required at the Twinbrook Community Recreation Center.
Each session costs:
    
City Resident $110
     Non Resident $130

TCRC Membership required. A minimum enrollment of 10 children is required. No refunds will be given.

Registration begins on:
Residents: Tuesday, December 11, 2007
Non-Residents: Tuesday, December 18, 2007

Along with Afterschool Adventure your child may be a part of Literature Club sponsored by the Twinbrook Community Recreation Center and the Commonweal Foundation to continue their reading skills thoughout the school year. 

Partners in Learning Literature Club will take place Monday though Thursday 4 p.m.-6 p.m.

Center Offerings

Computer Lab
The Computer Lab consists of nine computers available for members to use. All computers have Internet access, word processing, games, and printing capabilities. Users are asked to bring their own paper for printing and disks for saving. Paper and disks are also available for purchase. Computer Lab rules include a 30-minute time limit if others are waiting, and no chat or instant messaging, or downloads.

Fitness Trainer
Learn how to use the fitness equipment with the certified trainer. Free group machine training is available (Up to 3 members during the session) on Mondays and Thursdays. One on one personal training sessions are available for an additional fee. By appointment only.

Other Activities
Ping-pong tables and board games are available for drop-in use during all center operating hours. There is a 30-minute time limit when others are waiting.

Rentals
The Twinbrook Community Recreation Center has rooms for all small occasions! Whether for business or pleasure, you and your guest will find the prefect setting for those small occasions. The Center is also available for birthday parties, showers, or graduation parties with several options for party themes. A $30 deposit fee is required with all rentals.

Preschool
A licensed preschool for children ages 3- 5 years old involves participants in recreational and educational activities designed to promote self-confidence and individual expression. For more information, please call the Department of Recreation and Parks at 240-314-8620.

Senior Services
The City of Rockville Senior Center co-sponsors open volleyball, badminton, ping-pong and basketball for seniors at Twinbrook.

Public Safety / Community Services
A Rockville City Police officer is stationed at the Twinbrook Community Recreation Center to provide police assistance for the Twinbrook area. The City of Rockville Police Community Services activities include personal safety and residential crime prevention information, home and business security surveys, and school visits.
