Theme Party General Information

 Party rental: use of Multipurpose Rooms #1 and #2

  • Rental Rates
    Resident $35 per hour
    Non-Resident
    $46 per hour

    Rental of the multipurpose room is a must. The multipurpose room can accommodate up to 40 people.

    The multipurpose room has a small refrigerator, counter and sink for your party needs.

  • In addition a Party Package can be purchased:
    Resident $30 for party package
    Non-Resident $35 for party package

  • The party package includes the following:
    Theme related paper plates (20), cups, napkins and balloons for 20 children, forks, wall decorations and table covers for six 6-foot tables.

  • Themes available (but not limited to): Princess, Sports, Circus, 50's Rock and Roll, Fiesta, Harry Potter, Winnie the Pooh, 1st birthday, dinosaur, general birthday decorations and other themes available on request.

  • Rental Times:
    Saturdays: 1 p.m. - 9 p.m.
    Sundays: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. April – October
                  11 a.m. - 8 p.m. October – March
    Weekdays when space is available


  • Rent half of the gym for one hour when space is available (In addition to the multipurpose room). You must provide your own equipment. Rental of the gym is not available January - March.

    Non-Resident $35

  • Make your reservation in person at the Twinbrook Community Recreation Center. Payment must be made at the time of registration. We accept reservations no more than 3 months in advance and not less than one week in advance for the party package. You will be asked to sign a contract, complete a room rental application and complete a set up sheet at the time of registration.


We provide:

  • Party decorations
  • Cups, napkins and utensils
  • Helium balloon for each child
  • Room set up for 20 children
  • Trash bags and receptacles

You provide:

  • Supervision for children
  • Cake, ice cream, etc.
  • Additional cups and napkins for adults
  • Clean-up of party - plan for set-up and clean-up time in the rental period.

 Party Guidelines:

  • Your party is for a maximum of 20 children. We recommend no more then 20 additional adults for this room size.

  • The set up for your room will include a long table with seating for 20 children, cake, gift, and food table. Those tables will be covered with a tablecloth. If you wish to have additional seating for the adults you must request them ahead of time and those tables will not be covered with tablecloth's.

  • The room will be decorated in the theme you choose. This includes; party decorations and a helium balloon for each child.

  • The children's table will be set with the following; Cups, napkins, cake plates and utensils in the theme you have chosen. It will be set for 20 children. We do not provide additional cups, napkins and utensils for the adults attending or for any other food you may be having.

  • Remember to plan time in your rental for you to set-up and clean-up for your party. Please end your party on time. There may be another party coming in directly after yours. Participants are asked to leave the facility at the end of your party.

  • Things you may need to bring: Cake, ice cream, serving utensils, snacks, candles, matches, additional cups, napkins and plates for the adults, ice, and trash bags to carry presents.

  • You will need to provide supervision for the children during the party. There are helpful hints we can provide you for party games and activities. (see separate handout)

  • CLEAN UP INFORMATION: We provide trash bags and receptacles for all of your trash. Please clean up any major drink spills or food on the floor. If this is not adhered to, $30.00 of your security deposit will not be returned.

  • Decorations are provided around the room in your party theme. Please leave all decorations at the end of your party, the staff will take them down. They are re-used for other parties. If decorations are ruined or taken, you will be charged for those items.

  • With this birthday party package you have the use of the Multipurpose room. It does not include use of the fitness, computer lab or gym (except when paying the extra fee).

  • You will be billed for the full cost for any PROPERTY DAMAGE that occurs during your birthday party. Please make sure the front desk staff signs off on your party room at the beginning of the party and when you are leaving.

  • A 10% administrative fee will be charged for cancellations more than 60 days before the event. If reservation is cancelled 30-60 days before event we retain a 20% Administrative fee. If the event is cancelled less then 30 days prior to the event we retain entire rental fee.

  • Alcohol is prohibited at any birthday party or center rental.

  • You are responsible for the behavior of all the attendees. Attendees involved in unacceptable behavior will be asked to leave immediately or the event will be terminated.

  • The City reserves the right to exclude any group from future rentals of City facilities based on violation of any of the above rules.

  • Noise and music levels must be kept to a minimum and should not be heard outside of the facility. The base level should be kept to neutral or below. It is your responsibility to inform this policy to any hired DJ service.
