Membership Guidelines
The Lincoln Park Community Center is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable recreation experience. Our guidelines are designed to protect visitors and staff, and maintain the facility’s integrity.
- Users age 5 and older must purchase a daily or annual pass. Fitness center passes and memberships are sold separately.
- Children 7 and younger must be supervised by an adult. Children 8-14 must be supervised after 7 p.m. during the school year and after 8 p.m. on weekends and in summer.
- Dress appropriately. Shoes and athletic shoes are required while playing in the gymnasium and using the fitness equipment at all times.
- Watching requires a daily or annual pass (except for city-sponsored classes/programs).
- Personal trainers are prohibited under City Code (Sec. 14-41). Facility has trainers on staff for fitness and basketball, see front desk for more information.
- The center is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Equipment use is limited to 30 minutes with others waiting.
- Careless, abusive or improper use of equipment, including hanging on the basketball rim, will not be tolerated.
- Disruptive behavior, fighting and profanity is not tolerated.
- Footballs, soccer balls and dodge balls are not allowed in the gymnasium, except under staff supervision.
- Smoking, alcohol and illegal substances are prohibited inside the facility or on the grounds.
- No bicycles, skateboards and skating in the building. No skateboarding in front of building.
- All users must purchase a daily or annual fitness pass.
- All members must scan their membership card at the customer service desk when entering the facility.
- Patrons must be 18 years of age to use the fitness equipment without supervision. Teens 13 to 17 years old may sign up with parental permission. Children younger than 13 years old may not use the fitness center.
- No food or drink is allowed in the fitness center. Water is permitted in non-glass containers.
- Appropriate dress is required. Shirts must be worn always. Athletic shoes are required on the fitness equipment.
- Careless, abusive, or improper use of equipment will not be tolerated.
- Use of equipment is limited to 30 minutes when others are waiting.
- Return equipment to its proper place after use.
- Clean the fitness center machines with the wipes provided after use.
- Do not move the cardio and strength equipment. · Stand away from equipment in use by others.

- Profanity and other offensive or intimidating behavior will not be tolerated.
- Be respectful of others in regard to the selection and volume of television programs.
