Rockville Swim and Fitness Center Reservation Request

Reservations will no longer be needed for the outdoor Fitness Pool, indoor North Pool, or Fitness Room. Users may return to sharing a lap lane with others in these areas without COVID related limitations on the number of swimmers per lane. Facility use being restricted to City of Rockville residents and facility members/program registrants is also lifted effective May 28. City Residents and non-residents alike may drop-in at the facility for lap and recreation swim by paying the corresponding fee for areas that do not require reservations.

Lanes in the indoor South Pool and indoor family recreation “ramp” area of the North Pool will remain with a 1 household per lane/area capacity as a temporary accommodation for customers who need to swim in such a manner. Reservations for these spaces continue to be requested via www.rockvillemd.gov/rsfcreservations.

The City of Rockville has revised its face covering requirement based on current guidance from the CDC and local health officials. Beginning 6/9/21, face coverings are not required for fully vaccinated individuals in any space, indoors or outdoors. Signage will be posted at all City facilities opened to the public advising that fully vaccinated visitors are no longer required to wear face coverings when visiting the facility. However, it is asked that unvaccinated visitors continue to wear their face coverings to protect themselves and others.  Please be advised that certain programs operating throughout the City may still require face coverings based on specific licensing regulations and/or program requirements. Customers will be informed of these specific requirements if applicable.
