Participate in Your Community

Voice Your Opinion

Visit the Mayor and Council Agenda Center to learn how to sign up for Community Forum, a drop-in session with the mayor and a councilmember, or a public hearing.

  • Community Forum, in which community members may speak for up to three minutes, is held during most Mayor and Council meetings.
  • Drop-in sessions with the mayor and a councilmember are held monthly prior to a Mayor and Council meeting.
  • Public hearings on specific topics are held during Mayor and Council meetings.

Serve our City

Residents are encouraged to lend their time and expertise to a city board or commission. Boards and commissions provide the Mayor and Council with informed public opinions, thoughts and ideas that shape the city.
