As an award-winning sustainable community, Rockville works to eliminate pollution and keep our environment clean and healthy. We offer rebates to encourage everyone in our community to help in our efforts.

Single-family homeowners and nonprofits, including religious institutions, private schools and homeowners associations, can receive up to a lifetime maximum of $2,500 in rebates through Rockville’s RainScapes Rebates program.

The program offers rebates for planting trees and conservation landscaping, installing rain barrels, removing pavement and installing permeable pavers– actions that can reduce flooding, decrease pollution in local streams and help local wildlife.
