Most City of Rockville Facilities Closed July Fourth

Rockville, Maryland, June 20 – City Hall and the following city facilities will be closed Thursday, July 4, for Independence Day: Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers; the Rockville Senior Center; Croydon Creek Nature Center; Glenview Mansion, including the mansion’s art gallery; and F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and its box office.

Theater tickets are always available at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatre.

The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will close at 6 p.m. Find summer hours for individual swim center facilities at www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter.

There will be no recycling, yard waste and trash collection on July 4. Collections on a Thursday schedule will be made on Friday, July 5. For more information, visit www.rockvillemd.gov/recycling-trash or call 240-314-8568.

Parking at city-owned meters will be free.
