Rockville to Open $1.5 Million Grant Program for Local Nonprofits 

Local nonprofit organizations that partner with Rockville to provide community services and enrichment programs will soon be able to apply for a share of grant funding from the city. 

The Fiscal Year 2027 application period for the Community Services and Enrichment Grant Program will open Monday, Sept. 8. The deadline to apply is Friday, Oct. 17. 

For FY 2027, Rockville is encouraging applications from nonprofits that provide substance abuse and misuse treatment or affordable child care services to city residents. 

The amount of funding for the grant program will be about $1.5 million. Grants are available and will be awarded to about 40 applicants.
