Twinbrook Community Center Gym Closed for Most of April
Twinbrook Community and Recreation Center’s gym will be closed from April 2-28 so the gym floor can be stripped, lines repainted and new bleachers installed. A recent law aims to increase safety and protect city workers doing one of the most dangerous jobs in America. Gov. Larry Hogan signed Maryland’s “Operation When Approaching Vehicle with Visual Signals” law last spring, making Maryland the 18th state to enact so-called Slow Down to Get Around legislation.

Home Rehabilitation Grants Available
The city helps low- and moderate-income homeowners make repairs to their homes through the Single-Family Rehabilitation program, a forgivable loan program funded by Community Development Block Grants.
