Hearings to be Held on Electric Rate Hike
Residents of Montgomery County could see a $13 average hike on their monthly electric bills if a request from Potomac Electric Power — Pepco — is approved by the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC). The commission is holding two hearings on the proposed increase, which would net an extra $104 million in electric distribution rates.
