Make Rockville Your Destination for Independence Day

Rockville, Md., June 21 – Join family and friends on Thursday, July 4, for Rockville’s Independence Day Celebration. The festivities will be held at Montgomery College Rockville Campus, 51 Mannakee St.

Events kick off at 7 p.m. with music from the main stage, featuring the Fugitive Brass Quintet and the Rockville Concert Band. Enjoy patriotic songs, dancing and food that will be available for purchase.

At 9:15 p.m. get ready for spectacular fireworks. Celebrate our nation as you take in the view of the spectacle across the sky. Remember to bring chairs and blankets for seating.

Alcohol, barbecuing and/or open flames are not permitted at the event site. Smoking is not allowed on campus.

Parking will be available in all Montgomery College parking lots and parking lots on the corner of Mannakee Street and Route 355. Be sure to park in the indicated public lots and please be respectful of the surrounding neighborhoods. At the conclusion of the fireworks, it may take approximately an hour to exit the parking lots.
