Presenting programs on Comcast, Verizon and RCN channel 11, as well as 24/7 online streaming via the city’s website, Rockville 11 seeks to help citizens connect with their city through the medium of television. COVID-19 COVERAGE

Rockville 11 is part of The PEG Network/Connect Montgomery Alliance which consists of local cable access operators who provide trusted information about government, schools and the arts for Montgomery County residents over various cable television channels.

As a part of this alliance Rockville 11 is sharing the latest information on COVID-19 with a 90-minute programming block that will air daily. (click link below for Rockville 11 programming schedule). This block of programming contains news you can use during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Municipal Broadcast Network

Montgomery County’s community cable PEG (Public / Education / Government) television stations are broadcast in HD on Comcast and RCN subscribers. Rockville 11 will join the City of Takoma Park and MMC to form MBN the Municipal Broadcast Network on channel 997 on Comcast.

Rockville 11 is a Government Access Channel granted to the City of Rockville per Federal law for the purpose of bringing news and information about Rockville’s government to residents. It is administered by Rockville 11, part of the Communication Division in the City Manager’s Office. Rockville 11 is a member of the PEG Network (Public Education Government) of Montgomery County.
