Schedule a Fire Inspection
About Schedule a Fire Inspection
Fire inspections are required for construction projects, licensed facilities, and fireworks.
Fire Inspections for Construction Projects
Fire inspections are required for any construction projects that include a Fire Code plan review or require a Fire Protection Permit. Building permits will include a Fire Code plan review comments sheet or note that a field inspection by the fire marshal is required. For more information, refer to the Fire Protection Systems Inspection Procedures.
Fire Inspections for Licensed Facilities
Fire inspections are required for initial or renewed licenses for daycare homes and centers, nursing homes, automotive repair facilities, and other licensed facilities.
All fire inspections for licensed facilities must be requested through MGO Connect. Each application will be reviewed for completeness and once accepted, fees are assessed and an invoice is issued. After payment, you will receive instructions to schedule your inspection. A fire inspector will contact you to confirm the date and time.
Fireworks Inspections
All fireworks inspections must be requested through MGO Connect at least 30 days before the event. Each application will be reviewed for completeness and once accepted, fees are assessed and an invoice is issued. After payment, you will receive instructions to schedule your inspection. A fire inspector will contact you to confirm the date and time.
