PARK NOTICE
Park permits for the 2021 park season can be issued starting Fri., April 9, following COVID-19-related executive orders and regulations. Learn more about the permitting process here.
The order prohibits gatherings of more than 50 people, in an effort to reduce public contact and slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and applies to athletic, social, cultural and community gatherings.
The largest of our parks, the Civic Center Park is centrally located and surrounded by some of Rockville’s best places - Glenview Mansion, Croydon Creek, F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre, formal gardens and a forest preserve.

Requirements:
Rental requests accepted April 1 through November 10.
Park picnic permits available April 15 through November 14.
Park must be permitted at least 72 hours in advance.
Non-Alcohol permits only. Alcohol prohibited.
Permits available from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
Permit Fees
All rentals require a $100 security deposit in additional to the rental fee at the time of permitting. Public, charter or private schools received a discounted rate depending on status. Review the park picnic rental information for pricing details.
Once the application is received, an approval or denial will be made within 48 hours. If the requested date is available a park picnic permit will be sent via email. The permit must be signed and returned along with payment within 24 hours.
