EXPANSION OF SERVICES AND OPERATING HOURS Community Centers have expanded services and operating hours.
Rockville Senior Center fitness members may continue to use the fitness/weight room at all three Community Centers until further notice. Help keep everyone safe. Do not visit any City of Rockville property if you are feeling ill or have COVID-19 symptoms.
Employees and visitors to City of Rockville properties who have received full COVID-19 vaccinations are no longer be required to wear masks. Unvaccinated individuals are encouraged to wear face coverings to protect themselves.
City staff and students must wear face coverings at the Montrose Discovery Preschool. Masks and face coverings must be worn by staff and riders on Rockville Senior Center buses, or by staff and participants in summer camps and youth recreation programs.
Thomas Farm Community Center opened in February 2009 and is the City of Rockville's first community center west of Interstate 270. The center serves members with engaging, high-quality recreational activities in a safe, modern and well maintained facility.
The center offers classes for all ages, rental space, drop-in sports, fitness center for exercise, special events, a teen after school program, lounge, art gallery, game room and ping pong tables. The facility is supported by a number of environmentally friendly sustainable features.
