Find programs and resources available to anyone 60 and older during the COVID-19 emergency. More information can be found in our August email newsletter.

Current Senior Center Fitness Members

The Rockville Senior Rockville Swim and Fitness has opened its doors and have welcomed the Senior Center fitness members to use the gym as well. Daily lunch program

Grab and go boxes are available in lieu of the normal lunch program. We offer seven frozen meals, including milk, applesauce, fruit, and bread. Food is delivered on Wednesdays or can be picked up at the Rockville Senior Center on Wednesdays, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Any senior living within City of Rockville limits, in need of food assistance, call 240-314-8800 to receive an application for the lunch program. Orders must be received by Tuesday, allowing a full week before the Wednesday delivery.

Residents outside of Rockville city limits can access Montgomery County meal programs.

Rockville Senior Center Food Drive

The Rockville Senior Center will hold food drives to collect shelf-stable food for seniors, 9 a.m.-noon, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, until the COVID-19 emergency concludes.

The collection, a drive-up-and-drop-off where senior center staff will unload items safely without donors having to leave their cars, will be at the senior center, 1150 Carnation Drive. As safety is a priority, staff will wear face coverings and gloves. Collected food will remain untouched for six days before sorting and delivery.

For days and times other than those listed, food can be dropped off in the blue bin under the side parking lot awning.

Please do not make extra trips to the store to buy donations. Only purchase donations when making purchases for yourself or your family.
