2022 PARK SEASON
Park shelter permitting begins on March 1, 2022 with use starting on April 1, 2022. Read the Permit a Park Shelter Information Packet to learn which park shelters are available to permit this season and the rules/guidelines.
The City of Rockville's parks are maintained and cared for by the Recreation and Parks Department. With 67 parks, we believe in access to beautifully, maintained open spaces and parks. Go on a new adventure in one of Rockville's treasured parks. With plenty of playgrounds, sport fields, pavilions and other amenities, our parks are great for visiting, playing or hosting an event.

- Parks are smoke-free areas.
- Alcohol is only allowed with a permit.
- Keep our wildlife safe by keeping your distance.
- No camping.
- Activity selling any goods or services is not allowed.

A fully-fenced dog park is available to Rockville's furry friends. Our large park offers plenty of exercise space, water fountains, benches and more.

These park shelters are available to permit. All other parks cannot be reserved and are on a first come, first serve basis.
