Rockville parks are currently open for public use, but bathrooms remain closed.
The order still prohibits gatherings of more than 50 people, in an effort to reduce public contact and slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and applies to athletic, social, cultural and community gatherings.
Although parks are open for public use, we are not issuing any park rental permits at this time.
The City of Rockville's parks are maintained and cared for by the Recreation and Parks Department. With 65 parks, we believe in access to beautifully, maintained open spaces and parks.
Go on a new adventure in one of Rockville's treasured parks. With plenty of playgrounds, sport fields, pavilions and other amenities, our parks are great for visiting, playing or hosting an event.
