The annual Rockville Means Business event, hosted by the Procurement Department, offers vendors an opportunity to learn more about doing business with city government. The event features information sessions and exhibits by city departments, giving vendors a chance to interact with City of Rockville staff. Minority-, female-, disabled-, or veteran-owned businesses are especially encouraged to attend.

The third annual Rockville Means Business outreach event is open to businesses who have an interest in participating in the city’s contracting process and doing business with the City of Rockville.
Informational sessions will include an overview of the city’s e-bidding system and vendor collaboration portal, strategies for doing business with the city, and a moderated panel discussion with representatives from the city’s key departments. Exhibits by city departments will also be on site providing businesses an opportunity to interact directly with city staff.
Minority, female, disabled, or veteran-owned businesses are especially encouraged to attend.
Registration is free. Seats are limited. A continental breakfast will be included.
