Rainout Line: Athletic Field Operating Status

The Rainout Line can be used to check the operating status of the City of Rockville’s athletic fields. The Rainout Line is updated by 3 p.m. on weekdays and 7:30 a.m. on weekends.

Check the status of athletic fields in the following ways:

• Search the Rainout Line website for an athletic field.
• Call 240-314-5055 and enter the extension number for a specific field listed in the right column of the Rainout Line website, followed by #.
• Download the free Rainout Line mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and search for “City of Rockville Athletic Facilities” in the app.
• Sign up for customized email alerts or text message alerts for the athletic fields of your choice.
