Rockville Seniors, Inc. (RSI) Continues Support for the Rockville Senior Center

RSI presented a check for $20,000 to the City of Rockville to support the Rockville Senior Center during the annual Senior Center volunteer appreciation and RSI board elections on June 21. RSI is an 11-member nonprofit created by the Mayor and Council to ensure that the quality of life of all Rockville senior citizens is improved through a properly supported senior center. RSI recruits volunteers to run the gift and thrift shop, book sales and bazaars, and weekly bingo. Proceeds from these fundraisers, and from donations, support center needs such as supplies, furniture and equipment. Learn more at www.rockvillemd.gov/rsi.
