The City of Rockville is asking residents and businesses to conserve water under a regional drought watch issued Wednesday, June 3 by the Drought Coordination Committee of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments. Click here for more information.
A red-tailed hawk has arisen from the stump of a cedar tree and now sits watch over David Scull Park, at the corner of First and Taft streets.
The sculptor is Nickelsville, Virginia-based artist Kris Connors. The carving is the latest addition to the city’s Arts in Public Places program. Discover more about Rockville’s art at www.rockvillemd.gov/AIPP.
