Speaker Series to Present Rain-Ready Rebates and Flooding Solutions

Join city staff and the Chesapeake Bay Trust from 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5 as the latest installment of Rockville’s Climate Solutions Speaker Series offers information about monetary incentives to beautify your yard and help protect your home from flooding.
Attend in person at the Taft Center, at 6 Taft Court, or online. A link to join online will be provided after registration. In-person space is limited, and registration is required. Register at rockvillemd.gov/rainscapes.
“Rain Ready: Sustainable Solutions for Rockville Residents” will provide information about rebates and grant programs for native plants and trees, rain gardens, permeable pavers, interior and exterior flood protection projects, community stormwater grants, and more.
